THERE were again a number of highly competitive events at the second round of the Penrith Swimming Club championships.
THE first round of the 2003 Penrith Swimming Club championships took place on Saturday with a number of highly competitive finals which reflected well on the effort and enthusiasm of members.
PENRITH Swimming Club youngsters travelled to Workington on Sunday for the sprint league B final where they took on the host club along with Copeland, Carlisle Water Polo and Troutbeck Bridge.

PENRITH Swimming Club’s juniors aged between nine and 11 competed in the B final of the Diddy League at Kendal on Saturday.
PENRITH Swimming Club competed in the final round of the Cumbria Sprint League at Kendal. Swimmers from clubs around the county compete at two venues and results are collated before points are awarded.
PENRITH Swimming Club youngster Danny Smith produced the performance of the day at the county championships at Barrow.
