Swimmers in action at winter meet

PENRITH Swimming Club took eight members to Workington for the Cumbria winter meet.
This was the first Cumbrian open gala after the winter break and took place over two days. It was also the last chance for some swimmers to achieve qualifying times for the upcoming county championships.
The Penrith squad had a successful weekend, with race victories for Jake Fabi, Caitlin Poulson, Kes Fountain and Charlie Harding. These swimmers and the other squad members, Sol Johl, Nathan Ellwood, Ellie Lloyds and Lucy Oliver, all obtained at least one personal best time.
